I really like this article, you have some very sensible time management tips. I especially like tip 1. I find that without a clear direction of where you want to go, it is too easy to just simply do those things which are urgent, rather than doing things which are important and add value to my life. To stop me constantly putting out fires, I find that prioritizing and planning my work (usually at the weekly level), and then working my plan, is a great step towards getting the most important things done.
